- ✅ There will be an airport-style security check before you enter St. Peter's Basilica; please leave liquids and sharp items at home and carry your possessions in a lightweight bag (you may be refused entrance to St. Peter's Basilica if you do not follow this).
- ✅ It is the responsibility of all visitors to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before tour departure; guests arriving after departure cannot be accommodated, and missed tours or tickets cannot be refunded.
- ✅ Walking tours depart from Borgo Santo Spirito 17 at the Cafè "Al San Michele". Please arrive 10 minutes early at the meeting point where you can enjoy your included Italian breakfast.
- ✅ This tour is not recommended for those who suffer from claustrophobia
- ✅ Please note that you won’t have to climb all the stairs to the Dome; the elevator saves you 171 steps

There is no separate preference queue or line available for visitors. All visitors are required to go through the standard security control line, similar to airport procedures, in order to access the basilica.
For each Guided Tour, a meeting place that is precisely mentioned on the voucher is designated for you. You must have to print your St. Peter's Basilica tourand provide it to our Vox City Guide at the meeting point.
Our meeting point is scheduled at 7:45 am at "Al San Michele" located at Borgo Santo Spirito 17. The English tour departs at 8:00 am. The French Tour Usually departs at 8:15 A.M. Coffee and Croissant are on us and will be offered to you at the meeting point.
The approximate duration of the tour is around 3 hours while the the dome elevator and climbing part typically takes approximately 40 minutes.
This Guided tours is not available on Wednesdays and Saturdays due to the Papal mass that takes place in the morning.
The guide will wait just 20 more minutes if you are unable to reach the meeting point. In case you are running late, you can email us and we will make the necessary arrangements for you if you missed the tour so you can reschedule to the next available slot.
