Radioguide® Headsets are available for groups who already have their own tour guide and wish to visit St. Peter's Basilica in Vatican City.
The Radioguide® Headset system enables guides to clearly communicate with their group without disturbing other visitors and with consideration for the holy nature of the Basilica. The guide speaks into a microphone connected to ear pieces which are distributed to the members of the group. This enables the participants to listen to the guide's explanations from a comfortable distance and to fully appreciate the artistic and architectural masterpieces of the Basilica.
The Radioguide® Headset service includes privileged Skip the Line access to the Basilica through a dedicated entrance. The group simply shows up at the privileged entrance (see map) at the reserved time. A member of our staff meets the group and accompanies them inside the Basilica, where they are provided with the Radioguide® Headsets and are free to enjoy their visit.
Important:
- The use of headsets inside the Basilica is mandatory for groups composed of 6 or more participants (6 participants + 1 guide).
- Only Authorized Guides, in possession of a Tour Guide License, can give explanations inside the Basilica. The guides must have their license and a valid ID on them at all times.
- Guided tours inside the Basilica are authorized dialy, except Sundays, from 9.00 to 15.45.
